Post Classic Notes
Just cannot give enough Kudos to Boy Duckett. He got it done in a big way like no home state angler ever has. He is now Bass Fishing Immortality!
It will be interesting to see how he does on the Elite Series, he definitely should have some momentum and confidence to take to Amistad. It will be nice to have the defending champ actually fishing the Elite Series this year.
I am also guessing that the Classic win could be a distraction for his Rookie Elite Series season, only time will tell.
As most of you saw, Duckett did most of his damage with a Crawfish Bill Lewis Original Rat-L-Trap 1/2 oz and Berkley Chigger Craw. I did notice on the coverage he was basically crawling his trap, kind of slow rolling it. He then employed the craw for punching the grass mats.

Skeet Reese ends up a bridesmaid but had a great tournament, he should do well on Amistad and the California swing.
Honestly, I am kind of glad KVD did not win, maybe I am just starting to resent his greatness, he'll probably win AOY anyways.
And finally a standing ovation for Terry McWilliams, way to represent the Federation Nation, I am sure he caught most of his fish with his "Stupid Tube"
In closing, if anyone cares, I created a MySpace page, its mostly a personal bass fishing page.... oh, yeah, Mr. Veech you owe me $5 due to your poor picks in the Super 6!!!

I thought this was a really good classic. The fact that most of these guys were basically bank fishing was cool to see and more exciting than when they are fishing off shore structure. As a guy that uses a lot of spinning tackle, I enjoyed watching a lot of the pros use spinning tackle. All that rambling to say, that I think the average fan could really relate to the show. Classics like this one could really help professional bass fishing gain popularity. It didn't hurt having a weekend fisherman competing with the big boys.

$5.00 yea, I got your $5. I was too disturbed to comment on the other post where you refer to yourself as a great fantasy mind. You only pick one person who even comes close to the top, and you happen to pick the correct spot so you win. It's CRAP!!!! It shouldn't be so heavly weighted on one pick. just my huble opinion, you lucky @#$%^@@$

Ancient Chinese philosopher once said, one must be sure to double, even triple check the plug in boat before tournament. Especially if one wins money from other competitor.

I think you are refferring to Confucius....
I have left my plug out for entire tournaments before and won, not too worried. Most recently, Lake Wappogasset in Wisconsin, this past spring
