Better Late then Never

I finally got digitail pictures from Bassmaster Weekend Series National Championships that I fished on Clarks Hill back in November.

I like to say I should have been there. I was sitting 3rd in points and then I spun a hub in my prop on the potomac. Took me all day to get back to the ramp and only had about an hour to fish. Managed 2 in that hour. Regardless, I was still 3rd in points after that. Then we went to the Upper Chesapeake Bay. I had never been. Conditions were as tough as I had ever seen them. I believe only 4 or 5 limits were brought in that day. Sadly I blanked. Fell to 20th in points. One fish would have kept me in it. After that I didn't fish the final two day event on my home water so naturally that send me way down the list. Becasue I lost my shot at a top 8 in points I fished my club classic instead. Proves how 1 bad tournament can hurt a season. The saying. "You can win it in one day, but you can loose it in one day" is definitley true. I will see you there next year though.

True, the way the points are setup in the Weekend Series, if you zero just one time, that will just about eliminate any chance of making the Top 8.  You are going to take a 100 pt plus hit to the guys that caught at least one fish.  On the upside, you will get a chance to get back at it sooner then I will
