New Cure for Winter Bass Fishing Blues
I just picked up a new bass fishing game for the Nintendo Wii. Its the new Rapala Fishing Frenzy game. I thought this would help me get through another long winter. Check out the trailer for the game....

Hey Rich, I'm in Eagan and have been following your site(s) for a while now. Thanks for all the great info and behind the scenes reporting.
I'd just like to know, when do things "slow down and cool off" for you? I'm limited to docks and shore, but I ain't catchin' crap anymore. Reply to this

Thank for the comment. Honestly I have not been out since end of Sept this year due to motor problems, but generaly early - mid October is when I often see things slow down on lakes, ecspecially for numbers, but its usually a good time to catch a few big fish, but not always. Its probably a very tough time to catch fish from shore as well, fish are often moving to the last of the green weed and setting up on isolated shallow cover, so unless those green weeds linger around your favorite spots, you may have a tough go of it
But hey, its still better then work, right??? LOL!!
On the other hand, this time of year river fishing can be excellant. So that is where I am headed to do some smallie fishing on Saturday!! Reply to this
Rich,
If you ever come down to Florida's west coast in the winter let me know and I'll take you out to Lake Walk in Water.
