Love the alliteration of Pickwick Picks

Well, just finish a long night of garage cleaning.  My boat will be spoiled this season with how good the garage is looking!  Not a lot of time to the deadline, but here are my Fantasy Picks for Pickwick:
KVD
Skeet
Horton
Kriet
Greg Vinson

To hear the how and why behind each pick and hear Greg Huff's picks (use these as guidelines of who not to pick....  )  Take a listen to the following Podcast!

We have hit 111 email subscribers on the Bassin" Blog and several hundred to the Twin City Limit podcasts, most on iTunes!  Well that is about it for now!

Ask Rich who finished 4th last week in his FLW league and who finished 61st! LOL!

And consider this info: Number of anglers on my team (picked before ESPN publishes its "Pundits Picks" column) that Bassmaster.com editor Ken Duke named as the top 10 picks for this week: 4 of my five (KVD, Duckett, Menendez and Howell) ... number of Rich's picks in Duke's top 10: 3 of his 5 (KVD, Skeet and Greg Vinson); number of Rich's picks on Duke's DO-NOT-pick list: 1 of 2 on the list -- Timmy Horton. The other one on Duke's DO-NOT-pick list is Crews. My fifth pick is Niggmeyer.

Several other ESPN pundits echoed our picks: reporter Rob Russom took Niggemeyer and Horton; reporter Kyle Carter took Reese and Niggemeyer; ESPNOutdoors.com executive editor Steve Bowman took Horton; all ESPN pundits but Carter took KVD.

For the record though, I think Ken Duke is waaaaay wrong about Tim Horton. He will be fishing on Day 4.

Sometimes I leave pointed comments in my blogs to elicit responses and see who is reading, Greg PASSED!  I do agree that my BASS prognostication has always been better than my FLW.  Ken Duke who?

How many bass fishermen know what an alliteration is? -- Should I be ashamed that I had to look it up on dictionary.com?

As a bass fisherman you should not be ashamed, but as a writer that has been published on BassFan.com and quoted in Dallas Morning paper, yes, should be slightly ashamed
